Due to fly home to San Jose, CA on Saturday, September 15th, our flight was cancelled as part of the reaction to the events of September 11th.
We chose to drive home instead, and these pictures chronicle our journey. These 80 photos, divided into 7 categories, were picked from almost 600 taken between Sep. 6th and 20th.
One good way to enjoy this site is to first look at the 7 index/contact sheets, and then either click on a specific image to see the larger version, or my favorite, go back to the first index page, and look at all of the images in the larger format.
This site is dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives on that tragic day.
